Sponsored by UK Trade and Invesment, we invite you to join us for a Mobile Monday Christmas drink and a special presentation from Complete the Picture – discussing the outcomes of the recently completed AMPLI survey (aka Australian Mobile Phone Lifestyle Index survey, commissioned by AIMIA)

This is the 7th year AIMIA (Australian Interactive Media Industry Association) has conducted this longitudinal study that looks at mobile phone behaviour, usage and preferences of Adult Australians (18 plus).  This project is the only known independent and open study of the Australian market that has been carried out with the support of major industry partners.

Complete the Picture has undertaken the Study and this month Dr Marisa Maio-Mackay will present their findings at MoMo.

About Complete the Picture:

Complete the Picture provides businesses in the mobile, other digital and new technology space with in-depth and relevant insights and recommendations from custom designed research, or the analysis of your existing data.

Whether your business is concerned with the evolution of an existing product, or the development of a completely new and radical offering that changes the way people think and behave – we can help you make more informed decisions about the development, marketing, commercialisation and overall management of your investment.

MoMovember is nigh!

28 October, 2011

Get your MoMostaches growing!

By the 3rd week of November (at Adelaide’s MoMo) we expect to see some top lip action happening!

https://www.movember.com/au/register/details/team_id/280122

So What Is Movember About?

  • Movember is about
raising funds and awareness for men’s health,
specifically prostate cancer and male depression.
  • Close to 3,300 men die of prostate cancer in Australia each year and one in eight men
will experience depression in their lifetime. Many of these men do not seek help.
  • Together we can raise funds for work to change those statistics. Together we can
change the face of men’s health.
  • You can either grow a moustache as a Mo Bro, or join as a Mo Sista and
help to recruit other Mo growers and supporters to the team.

Mobile Monday Adelaide: 17 October 2011

MEGA - Mobile Enterprise Growth Alliance

MEGA

invites you to

Mobile Monday

in Adelaide

at Tomorrow Studio, 193 Wakefield Street, ADELAIDE

This month at Mobile Monday we have the UKTI (United Kingdom Trade & Investment) in to discuss their services and promote their $30k competition to establish part of your business in the UK;  and

OzRunways: Revolutionising how pilots navigate (and the business of selling $100 apps to thousands instead of $1 apps to millions.)

Most people who have seen images of the flight deck of an airliner or business jet, assume all light aircraft are equipped with a similar array of navigational instruments. That could not be farther from the truth; a compass is about as advanced as many aircraft get. Aviation GPS units can cost thousands and leave many users wanting in screen resolution and user friendliness. This is why we created OzRunways; using the iPad’s big screen to show official aviation maps and make navigation a breeze and creating an overnight fast-growth company in the process, proving that in a $1 app world, people are willing to pay good money for mobile software that provides them real value.

OzRunways was created by a trio of pilots with very different backgrounds: Neil Weste, retired WiFi pioneer and private helicopter pilot, Rowan Willson, RAAF Orion P3 Captain and Computer Science grad and Bas Scheffers, recreational pilot and proprietor of Formicary, an Adelaide (Tomorrow Studio) based developer of mobile apps and websites.

OzRunways have great plans for the future; entering different markets with OzRunways around the world as well as other aviation apps and related hardware. Formicary is currently busy creating apps for our clients while pursuing other opportunities for creating high-value Software as a Service web/mobile integrated applications.    http://www.ozrunways.com/
