MEGA - Mobile Enterprise Growth Alliance

MEGA invite you to
Mobile Monday
in Adelaide

Come and join us on Monday 21st June, 2010 from 6pm to 8pm at The Brunswick Hotel, 207 Gilbert St, Adelaide SA 5000.

Never miss your bus again!

Sandora is a mobile based platform that reports the location of a vehicle every 30 seconds (or so) and can be used to predict an estimated time of arrival at a destination. The initial market segment being targeted is the public transport industry, with the dissemination of real time public transport timetables via a web page (computer or smart phone).

Sandora GPS Solutions Pty Ltd was formed in 2009 by Dave Hepworth, Phil Allan and Ramesha Murthy. They started working on Sandora in 2008 as students undertaking the Master of Science in Information Technology program at Carnegie Mellon University, with the aim to satisfy a need and fill an existing gap for information about public transit services in real time, both from commuter and provider points of view. Since graduating, they have dedicated their time and skills to developing the Sandora platform for commercial use.

Sandora is a live demonstration project at this point in time.

They are pursuing a number of business opportunities in the government, education, community and tourism sectors.

It should be a great evening so please come along and remember to bring your business cards.

Numbers are limited so please RSVP to Leonie O’Dea at rsvp@mobilemondayadelaide.net
